Job summary

FedEx is offering a People Operations Internship that gives undergraduates hands-on HR experience across onboarding, data reporting, engagement, and process improvement. You will work with HR professionals, support employee lifecycle activities, and help deliver a positive employee experience while developing practical skills in analytics and people operations.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates who have completed at least two years of their degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or related disciplines.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for working with people.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an interest in people data and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with HR systems, Power BI, Power Automate, or data visualization tools will be an added advantage.
• Minimum internship commitment of 3 to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee movements, and offboarding activities.
• Partner with various stakeholders to support HR operational processes and deliver a positive employee experience.
• Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems and records while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Generate HR reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics that help drive informed people decisions.
• Support system enhancement initiatives, testing activities, and process automation projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.
• Serve as a trusted support partner by responding to employee inquiries and guiding employees on HR processes and policies.
• Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
• Support internal communications and help deliver meaningful employee experiences across the organization.
• Contribute fresh ideas and creative solutions to continuously improve people programs and processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery within People Operations.
• Participate in special projects that support the ongoing evolution of HR practices and employee experience initiatives.
