Job summary

Private Advertiser, based in Malaysia, is seeking a proactive Assistant HR Manager to strengthen the HR function during growth. You will oversee HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations and compliance, ensuring accurate records and timely processes.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in HR operations or generalist roles, with hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding and payroll coordination, plus familiarity with Malaysia's

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HR operations or generalist roles.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and payroll coordination.
• Familiarity with Malaysian Employment Act and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
• Support recruitment lifecycle from job postings to offers and onboarding.
• Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and benefits administration.
• Handle employee relations, engagement initiatives and performance processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
