Job summary

Garden International School is seeking an Executive, People & Culture to support recruitment, onboarding, leave and attendance management, and expatriate pass processes for both academic and non-academic staff. The role emphasizes stakeholder relations with staff, government bodies, and other units.

The successful candidate will oversee HR activities, maintain staff listings, and ensure compliance with Malaysia's employment regulations to enable smooth school operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years related HR/administration experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and support hiring, onboarding and offboarding processes for academic and non-academic staff.
• Handle application, renewal and cancellation of employment and dependent passes; manage permits to study for expatriate staff’s children.
• Oversee end-to-end leave and attendance management.
• Maintain staff listings and staff photo portal; ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaise with Immigration Department and Ministry of Education for employment passes.
