Job summary

Prestige Carcare Group Sdn. Bhd. seeks a People & Culture Engagement Executive to plan and execute employee engagement, culture-building and internal communications across multiple branches including Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and Sabah.

The role supports onboarding and staff wellbeing, promotes the company values, and helps strengthen teamwork and employee experience at Prestige Carcare. Travel to branches will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–4 years in employee engagement, HR, event coordination or internal comms.
• Diploma or degree in HR, communications, event management or related field.
• Creative, able to develop engaging activities for staff.
• Strong event planning, coordination and communication skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu, English; Mandarin is a plus.

Job description

The People & Culture Engagement Executive is responsible for planning and implementing employee engagement, culture-building and internal communication activities across Prestige Carcare Group. The position will support employees in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Sabah and other future branches to strengthen teamwork, employee experience and alignment with the Company's values.

Key responsibilities

Plan and organize employee engagement and culture-building activities.

Coordinate team-building programmed, town halls, festive celebrations, appreciation events and employee gatherings.

Develop an annual employee engagement and activities calendar.

Promote the Company's mission, values and desired workplace culture.

Create internal communication materials, announcements, posters and employee updates.

Support employee recognition, appreciation and reward programmed.

Conduct employee engagement surveys and gather staff feedback.

Analyze survey results and recommend improvement initiatives to Management.

Coordinate employee wellness, corporate social responsibility and workplace well-being programmed.

Support onboarding activities to ensure new employees understand the Company's culture and values.

About you

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Communication, Event Management, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in employee engagement, HR, event coordination or internal communication.

Creative and able to develop engaging activities for employees.

Strong event planning, coordination and communication skills.

Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of employees.

Good writing skills for internal announcements, posters and communication materials.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and basic design applications such as Canva.

Energetic, approachable, organized and people-oriented.

Willing to travel and support programmed in Penang, Johor Bahru, Sabah and other future branches.

Ability to communicate in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin will be an added advantage when liaising with Mandarin-speaking employees and Management.

Willing to travel and support programmes in Penang, Johor Bahru, Sabah and other future branches.

Experience in the automotive, retail, service or multi-branch industry is an added advantage.
