Job summary

Prestige Carcare Group SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair high-end Continental vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and VW. You will handle engine, transmission, suspension and electrical systems with modern diagnostic tools in a fast-paced workshop.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document findings and parts used. Multilingual communication (Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin) is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-8 years hands-on experience as Automotive Technician, preferably with Continental vehicles.
• Proven experience servicing brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, braking.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting on Continental vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Carry out high-quality repairs and maintenance on engine, transmission, braking, suspension and electrical systems.
• Conduct PDI and routine maintenance checks to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle systems, including ADAS, ECUs, sensors, wiring, and infotainment systems.
• Perform routine servicing such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and other scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records including diagnostic findings, parts used and labour performed.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly.
• Ensure all repairs meet quality control standards before vehicle handover.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and best practices.
• Good communication in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin preferred.
• Stay updated with latest Continental vehicle technologies through continuous learning and training.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automotive Technician (Mechanic) with strong expertise in servicing and repairing Continental vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Volkswagen. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues, committed to delivering quality workmanship, and passionate about staying up to date with the latest automotive technologies.

Job Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide range of Continental vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise.

Carry out high‑quality repairs and maintenance on engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems according to manufacturer specifications.

Conduct pre‑delivery inspections (PDI) and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.

Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle systems, including ADAS, ECUs, sensors, wiring, and infotainment systems.

Perform routine servicing such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and other scheduled maintenance.

Maintain accurate service records, including diagnostic findings, parts used, and labour performed.

Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, and braking systems.

Expertise in diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, ECUs, and infotainment systems.

Proficient in using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and software.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication and customer service skills Mandarin speaker is preferred

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced workshop.

Willing to continuously learn and adapt to new automotive technologies.
