Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang seeks a General Manager to own end-to-end P&L for the Penang operation, manage key accounts, and drive market expansion across Malaysia and Southeast Asia for ITAD, e-waste and recycling sectors.

You will lead the local team, oversee factory dismantling, warehousing and logistics, and ensure compliance with Malaysia environmental laws and cross-border waste shipment regulations. A strong emphasis on stakeholder management and cost control will be essential.

Qualifications

• Age below 50 with a stable career track record.
• Minimum 10 years in manufacturing/e-waste/recycling industries; 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience with OEM/EMS, battery factories, and dismantling plants.
• Familiar with Southeast Asia e-waste and recycling supply chains.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and cost analysis capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management with customers, suppliers and HQ.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end P&L for Penang operation.
• Manage key accounts and develop recycling channels across OEM/EMS/energy storage.
• Lead local team and oversee factory dismantling, warehousing and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysia environmental laws, OSHA and cross-border waste shipment rules.
• Prepare budget, rolling forecast and updates for group HQ.
• Scale the team with business growth.
• Build safety culture with zero major incidents.
