Job summary

Urbane Ethos Early Intervention Center in Shah Alam is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a full-time, on-site role. You will conduct assessments, design and deliver interventions, document progress, and coach families to carry over gains.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team and support children from 0-19 years, and the center offers CPD support, medical insurance, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Occupational Therapy; registered or eligible for registration in Malaysia.
• Minimum 350 supervised clinical hours with pediatric cases; 400+ hours preferred.
• Ability to write and present professional reports in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric OT assessments (standardized and clinical observation) and translate findings into functional goals.
• Plan and deliver individual treatment sessions targeting self-care, play, sensorimotor development, handwriting, attention and school readiness.
• Facilitate small group programs such as sensory motor play groups and handwriting or school readiness intensives.
• Develop and update individualized therapy plans with measurable goals in collaboration with families and the team.
• Provide home program coaching to parents and caregivers in line with family routines.
