Headstart Academy in Malaysia is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist to work on-site in a locum capacity. The role focuses on holistic assessment of children, examining gross and fine motor skills, cognition, social development, and self-care routines.

You will work with children and adolescents with autism and their families, bringing passion, English proficiency, teamwork, and strong organisational and analytical skills to maximise learning and potential.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a centre or hospital setting preferred.
• Proficient in English and able to work well in a team.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Assess and address children's motor, cognitive, social, and self-care skills.
• Identify origins of delays or limitations in development.
• Holistically support learning and participation for children and adolescents with autism and their families.

About the Role

Requirements

Possess a Diploma/Degree/Post-graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy

Relevant working experience (minimum 2 years for therapist in centre or hospital setting is preferred)

Proficient in english language

Strong organisational & analytical skills

Able to work well in a team
