Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad invites qualified professionals to join as Early Interventionists in Kuala Lumpur. You will implement individualized programmes, deliver structured play-based sessions, and apply evidence-based strategies under supervision.

You will collaborate with Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Rehabilitation Physicians while maintaining thorough documentation and caregiver coaching to support skill generalisation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Education, Rehabilitation Sciences, or related health fields.
• Formal training or certification in early intervention or ABA is preferred.
• Experience with neurodevelopmental conditions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized early intervention programmes as prescribed by clinical psychologists and therapists.
• Deliver structured, play-based, developmentally appropriate sessions.
• Apply evidence-based strategies (ABA-informed, naturalistic developmental) per the child’s plan.
• Maintain safe, therapeutic environment and progress data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and participate in case discussions.
• Coach caregivers to support skill generalisation at home and in sessions.
• Manage caseloads and ensure professional documentation.
