Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia, Penang, is seeking a fresh Electrical/Electronics Engineer to join our hardware team. You will design and develop highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets, starting from concept to prototype.

Training will be provided; you will work with RF, digital controller, power and audio sub-circuits, using ADS/CST for RF simulations and Mentor Graphics/Cadence tools for SI studies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering or related discipline.
  • Must have basic knowledge in RF/digital controller/audio fields related to the role.
  • Experience with RF/digital measuring equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters).
  • Simulation experience in ADS/PSPI.

Responsibilities

  • Design and development of highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets.
  • Utilize Modeling & Simulation Software to create and evaluate designs, including RF simulation and digital SI studies.
  • Collaborate with engineers to generate innovative ideas and designs for infrastructure, subscribers and accessories.
  • Work on sub-circuits including RF, digital controller, power and audio.
