Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks a new graduate hardware engineer to design and develop communication products for professional markets. You will use ADS/CST and Mentor/Cadence tools for RF and digital simulations, collaborating with engineers on RF, digital, power and audio sub-circuits.

Training will be provided. A Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering is required, with interest in RF, controllers and audio circuits. This role is based in Penang, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering or related.
• Basic RF/digital controller/audio knowledge relevant to the area.
• Experience with RF/digital measuring equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters).
• Simulation experience in ADS/PSPICE/SI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets.
• Use modeling and simulation software to evaluate designs, including RF in ADS/CST and SI in Mentor/Cadence.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to create infra, subscribers and accessories meeting customer requirements.
• Develop RF and digital sub-circuits, including receivers, transmitters, VCOs, amplifiers and filters.
