Job summary

Boston Scientific in Penang seeks a Payroll Process Supervisor to support the Finance Manager on payroll initiatives. You will apply advanced payroll principles, ensure local compliance, and design audit processes while coordinating with the outsource partner.

You will lead Kronos timekeeping setup, payroll data, and reporting, plus ensure timely, accurate payments and audits. Requires degree and 5–10 years’ experience in multinational payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance or related field.
• 5–10 years of payroll experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, statutory compliance, and taxation.
• Experience with payroll and time & attendance systems (Kronos preferred).
• Hands-on expatriate and assignment payroll administration.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all site staff are paid on time, correctly and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Manage payroll relationship with HR Service Centre and third-party provider SLA.
• Set up new employees for payroll; handle ad hoc payments.
• Oversee expatriate payroll and ensure tax compliance.
• Lead internal/external payroll audits and month-end accounting.
• Produce management reports on payroll and labour costs.
• Configure Kronos timekeeping rules and train supervisors.
