Job summary

Synthomer plc is a global supplier of high‑performance polymers and ingredients serving coatings, construction, adhesives and health sectors. This Kuala Lumpur-based payroll role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliant with Employment Act and statutory regulations, and supports HR letters and data in the HRIS.

You will handle payroll inquiries, maintain records for audits, and contribute to process improvements within a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processes and payroll systems.
• Knowledge of statutory payroll regulations (e.g., Employment Act, tax, contributions).
• Ability to maintain accurate HRIS data and employee records.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll processing in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure salary payments comply with statutory requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate with authorities (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Income Tax) for submissions and inquiries.
• Respond to payroll-related employee inquiries with professionalism.
• Maintain payroll records and audit-ready documentation.
• Support benefits programmes and expatriate documentation when required.
• Assist in improving payroll processes and HR operations.
