Synthomer is seeking an HR/payroll administrator to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in line with statutory regulations and company policies.
You will support day-to-day HR activities, prepare and issue employment letters, manage employee benefits, and maintain HRIS data to keep records complete and audit-ready. The role covers end-to-end payroll and ongoing process improvements.

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in full compliance with statutory regulations, company policies and the Employment Act.
Support day‑to‑day HR operational activities, including the preparation and issuance of employment‑related letters such as confirmations, transfers, promotions, resignations and employment certifications.
Administer employee benefits programmes and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure all employee data is accurate, complete and consistently up to date.
Support the end‑to‑end payroll function, including preparation and processing of payroll in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
Ensure accurate and timely salary payments, adhering to statutory requirements and compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies.
Liaise with statutory authorities, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and the Inland Revenue Board (Income Tax), for submissions, queries and compliance matters.
Provide timely responses to employee payroll enquiries, ensuring clarity, professionalism and positive employee experience.
Adhere to payroll policies, procedures and internal controls, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Manage employee movement data—such as new hires, transfers, terminations, and retirements—including timely updates to payroll and issuance of required employment letters.
Maintain accurate and complete payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Maintain up‑to‑date and complete employee personnel files, ensuring readiness for both internal and external audits.
Support company recognition programmes, including the Educational Excellence Award, Long Service Award and Star Award and etc.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for payroll processes and HR operational workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
Provide support on expatriate immigration matters, including documentation and coordination, when required.
Attend to employees on benefits related enquiries.
