This position is ideal for HR professionals who possess strong payroll expertise and enjoy working in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be entrusted with managing payroll operations, statutory compliance, HR systems administration, employee benefits, and HR operational support while partnering closely with Finance, management teams, government authorities, and external service providers.

Manage the full spectrum of monthly payroll activities for employees in Malaysia.
Ensure accurate computation and processing of salaries, overtime claims, allowances, incentives, bonuses, deductions, and final payments.
Perform payroll validation, reconciliation, and pre-submission checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare payroll reports, general ledger postings, accruals, provisions, and payroll-related documentation required for monthly and annual financial closing.
Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Administer statutory contributions and submissions including EPF (KWSP), SOCSO (PERKESO), EIS (SIP), PCB/MTD, HRD Corp Levy, and other regulatory obligations.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll-related statutory payments and employee taxation matters.
Support annual tax reporting activities and coordinate with tax consultants where required.
Liaise with government authorities and external agencies to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data integrity.
Validate employee information relating to new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation adjustments, and terminations.
Monitor HR system integrations and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Support HR system testing, implementation activities, and continuous system enhancements.
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including system setup and administrative support.
Manage employee offboarding processes, final settlements, clearance procedures, and statutory documentation.
Support work permit and employment pass administration for foreign employees.
Coordinate employee identification card issuance and access arrangements with internal stakeholders.
Administer employee benefits programs, medical coverage, insurance schemes, and employee welfare initiatives.
Process and coordinate insurance claims, including accident-related claims with insurers and authorities.
Support employee engagement activities and company-wide HR programs.
Ensure benefit-related expenses are accurately documented and allocated.
Support internal and external audits through proper record management and compliance documentation.
Prepare HR reports and workforce data requested by management and regulatory authorities.
Participate in HR process improvement initiatives, policy implementation, and digital transformation projects.
Contribute to operational excellence through standardization and continuous enhancement of HR processes.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations with significant exposure to payroll administration.
Experience supporting payroll processing in a medium to large organization is highly desirable.
Experience in manufacturing or multinational company environments will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of Malaysian Employment Act and labour-related regulations.
Strong knowledge of payroll practices, statutory contributions, and tax compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems such as Workday, Unit4 Prosoft, or equivalent systems will be advantageous.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Able to prioritize multiple assignments and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
