Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support merchant onboarding and KYC verification. You will verify documents, liaise with sales channels, and help streamline onboarding procedures.

Using Excel and Power BI, you will help track onboarding volumes, prepare operational reports, and identify bottlenecks to improve the merchant experience. You will also coordinate with risk/compliance and deployment teams to ensure smooth handoffs and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Document Verification & KYC Review: Verify merchant application documents in line with bank guidelines and KYC standards.
• Merchant Documentation Liaison: Coordinate with internal and external sales channels to follow up on documents and resolve onboarding discrepancies.
• Process Optimization & Reporting: Assist in tracking onboarding metrics using Excel and Power BI; prepare reports and identify bottlenecks.
• Cross-Team Administrative Handoff: Coordinate merchant application approvals and file handoffs across sales, risk/compliance, and deployment teams.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain strong teamwork and working relationships with team members.
• Regulatory Compliance: Comply with guidelines and statutory requirements.
