Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support merchant onboarding and KYC verification. You will verify documents, liaise with sales channels, and help streamline onboarding procedures.

Using Excel and Power BI, you will help track onboarding volumes, prepare operational reports, and identify bottlenecks to improve the merchant experience. You will also coordinate with risk/compliance and deployment teams to ensure smooth handoffs and regulatory compliance.

• Merchant Documentation Liaison: Communicate with internal and external sales channels to follow up on pending documentation, resolve application discrepancies, and clarify onboarding procedures.
• Process Optimization & Reporting: Assist the Team Lead in tracking daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding volume metrics using Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Prepare operational reports and identify process bottlenecks to improve the merchant experience.
• Cross-Team Administrative Handoff: Coordinate merchant application approvals and file handoffs across sales channels, risk/compliance, and the terminal deployment team.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain strong teamwork and working relationships with team members at all times.
• Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all relevant guidelines and statutory requirements.
