Job summary

TechTiera is seeking a Functional Test Engineer based in Kuala Lumpur to design, develop, and execute tests across all levels for payment system applications. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners such as financial institutions and merchants, ensure coverage with positive, negative and regression tests, and drive UAT activities.

The role requires 3–5 years of card services experience, familiarity with ISO8583/ISO2022, and proficiency with Postman; test automation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with card services like Visa/Mastercard (3–5 years).
Familiarity with ISO8583 and ISO2022 specifications.
Experience with API tools like Postman is an added advantage.
Experience in test automation is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute tests for payment system applications.
Create test conditions, test cases, and expected results from requirements and specs.
Review test documentation with peers.
Ensure test coverage with positive, negative, and regression tests.
Prepare test environments and data.
Implement, execute, log tests, evaluate results, and report deviations.
Coordinate and support UAT with Financial Institutions, Merchants, Billers and PayNet.
Track and re-test defects until closure.
Update test execution documentation and compile results.
Report test progress and test case status, escalate issues.
