Job summary

Klinik Procare PLT is seeking a Clinic Assistant to join our medical administration team in Johor Bahru. This full-time role supports patient care and clinic operations, including registration, scheduling, documentation, and basic clinical tasks.

You will work with a compassionate team to ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and a welcoming patient experience in a modern healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical qualifications advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with patients and colleagues.
• Customer service experience, ideally in healthcare.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and patient confidentiality.
• Competence with computer systems and clinic management software; appointment scheduling experience helpful.
• Excellent organisational skills for multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail when handling patient records and documentation.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform light tasks.
• Compassion and empathy for patients; interest in healthcare.
• Flexibility to support broader clinic team.
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients on arrival.
• Manage patient registration and appointment scheduling.
• Handle patient inquiries and direct to staff.
• Process patient documentation and medical files securely.
• Assist with basic clinical tasks and prepare patients for consultations.
• Support medical staff during consultations and procedures.
• Manage clinic supplies and inventory.
• Process payments and manage clinic finances per procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clinic.
• Respond to telephone inquiries and manage calls professionally.
• Coordinate administrative tasks such as filing and record-keeping.
