Job summary

FUTURE FOOD SDN. BHD. is seeking a Pastry Packer in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, to join our manufacturing and logistics team.

This full-time role focuses on preparing, packaging, and labeling pastry products for distribution, while maintaining strict hygiene and quality standards. You will work closely with colleagues to meet daily packing targets and ensure products reach customers in perfect condition. Experience in food production is valued, though training is provided.

• Previous experience in packing or similar manufacturing role in food industry (preferred).

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Pastry Packer to join the dynamic team at FUTURE FOOD SDN. BHD. in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our manufacturing and logistics operations. As a Pastry Packer, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and preparing pastry products for distribution to our customers. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact our brand reputation and customer satisfaction. This role is essential to ensuring that our pastry products reach customers in perfect condition, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

What you'll be doing

• Carefully inspect pastry products for quality, freshness, and consistency before packaging
• Pack pastry items into designated containers, boxes, or packaging materials according to company specifications and customer requirements
• Ensure all packaging is sealed, labelled, and marked with relevant product information and expiry dates
• Maintain accurate records of packaged quantities and batch numbers for traceability purposes
• Organise and arrange packaged products on pallets or designated storage areas for distribution
• Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times to comply with regulatory requirements
• Monitor packaging materials and report any shortages or quality issues to supervisors
• Work efficiently to meet daily packing targets and production schedules
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely, performing routine maintenance as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in packing, packaging, or a similar manufacturing role within the food industry (preferred but not essential)
• Demonstrated attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
• Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets whilst maintaining accuracy
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices and willingness to adhere to strict protocols
• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift items weighing up to 20 kg, and stand for extended periods
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise packing work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to consistent attendance
• Basic numeracy skills for counting and recording packed items
• Willingness to learn and operate packaging machinery and equipment
