Job summary

Future Food Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a bakery/pastry assistant to join our team in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. No experience required; students and interns are welcome to apply.

You will assist with doughs, batters, fillings, and decorations in a fast-paced bakery environment. This role involves operating bakery equipment, packing and labeling, and ensuring hygiene. You will develop basic bakery skills, stand for long hours, work as part of a team, and may receive performance bonuses and attendance

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of bakery or pastry preparation is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for long hours and handle physical tasks.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist pastry chefs and bakers in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings.
• Operate bakery equipment and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area.
• Help with packing, labeling, and stock rotation.
• Ensure hygiene and safety compliance at all times.
• Bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes and multigrain breads.
• Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies (e.g. chocolate ganache, caramel sauce and fruits).
• Decorate cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings, like flowers.
