Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Chef de Partie - Pastry to assist in running the Pastry kitchen to Hyatt International standards and deliver high-quality pastry products. This is an hourly, entry-level, full-time role suitable for local candidates.

You will support the department in daily activities, ensure cleanliness and food safety, and supervise pastry production under the direction of senior chefs to maintain consistent quality and courteous service for guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' work experience as Demi Chef in an international luxury hotel brand or large restaurant with good standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
• Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations.
