You will assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries, cakes, and other baked products while maintaining hygiene and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in culinary arts, baking or pastry (or equivalent experience).
• Able to speak in English.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• 1–2 years of bakery/hotel/café experience or internship encouraged.
• Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for baking.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to kitchen standards.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Familiarity with food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Pastry Chef in daily production and mise en place.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards accurately.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station at all times.
• Ensure all food items are stored and handled safely according to food safety standards.
• Assist in decorating cakes and pastries creatively and consistently.
• Keep up to date with new trends in baking and pastry techniques.
• Work as part of a team and support colleagues during busy periods.
