Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform light manual tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Basic numeracy and familiarity with POS systems (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with their shopping needs and providing knowledgeable product information.
• Operating the point-of-sale systems and processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays in a neat, organised and visually appealing manner.
• Ensuring the sales floor remains clean and well-maintained throughout your shift.
• Conducting regular stock checks and inventory management tasks.
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Supporting the team with general store operations and special promotional activities.
• Complying with all health and safety regulations and store policies.
