Job summary

SELAT KEMUNING SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Part-Time Project Planner to prepare, update, and monitor project work programmes for property development projects, ensuring milestones and target dates are tracked and communicated.

You will liaise with the Project Manager and site team, review progress weekly, and provide basic sequencing and recovery recommendations. Diploma or degree in civil engineering or construction management preferred, with 2–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Project Scheduler / Project Planner.
• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Project Work Programmes, including milestones and target completion dates.
• Update project programmes weekly based on progress.
• Monitor planned vs actual progress and identify delays, variances and critical activities.
• Provide programme updates and basic recovery recommendations.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Team and relevant project parties to obtain progress updates.
• Attend project meetings/discussions as required and provide programme updates.

Job description

The Part-Time Project Planner is responsible for preparing, updating and monitoring project work programmes, tracking project progress, identifying delays and critical activities, and providing basic planning and recovery recommendations to support the timely completion of property development projects.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and review Project Work Programmes, including work sequences, milestones and target completion dates.

Establish and maintain the Approved Baseline Programme.

Update project programmes weekly based on actual progress.

Monitor planned vs actual progress and identify delays, variances and critical activities.

Prepare a brief weekly progress/programme report highlighting key delays and project concerns.

Provide basic recommendations on work sequencing, corrective actions and recovery measures.

Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Team and relevant project parties to obtain progress updates.

Attend project meetings/discussions as required and provide programme updates.

Provide basic planning advice on project progress and recovery actions.

Perform other programme-related duties within the agreed scope.

Job Requirements
