Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a capable Parcel collection and delivery operations team leader in Shah Alam to supervise daily parcel collection and delivery activities. You will plan manpower, routes and schedules while monitoring performance and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in logistics, courier, delivery or operations is preferred.
• Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role will be an advantage.
• Experience in parcel collection and delivery operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily operations team for parcel collection and delivery.
• Coordinate daily pick-up and delivery activities to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Plan and allocate manpower, routes and daily delivery schedules.
• Monitor parcel collection, sorting, loading and delivery processes.
• Track daily operational performance and ensure delivery targets and KPIs are achieved.
• Follow up on delayed, failed or problematic deliveries and coordinate with relevant parties for resolution.
• Monitor the performance and attendance of drivers, riders and operation staff.
• Ensure parcels are handled, scanned and recorded accurately throughout the delivery process.
• Handle operational issues, customer complaints and delivery-related enquiries when required.
• Coordinate with customers, drivers, riders and other internal departments to resolve operational matters.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety requirements and operational procedures.
• Prepare daily operational reports and provide updates to management.
• Identify operational issues and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
• Perform other ad-hoc operational duties as assigned by management.
