Job summary

RAIL ENGINE SDN. BHD is seeking a proactive Operations Coordinator to assist in coordinating daily operations across multiple outlets in Malaysia. You will monitor SOPs, service standards, and food safety, conduct outlet visits, and help identify and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willing to travel to outlets when required.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily operations across company outlets.
• Monitor SOPs, service standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Conduct outlet visits to identify operational issues and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and update training materials, SOPs, work instructions, and operational documents.
• Conduct staff training, coaching, and on-the-job training sessions.
• Maintain training records, attendance, and employee development progress.
• Assist with outlet audits, inspections, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor staff performance and support performance improvement plans.
• Prepare operational reports, meeting minutes, and administrative documentation.
• Coordinate with HR, Purchasing, Accounts, and other departments to support outlet operations.
• Assist in handling customer complaints and recommend operational improvements.
• Support food safety, workplace hygiene, and compliance with health and safety standards.
