Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day coordination between the Operations Department, Area Managers, stores, and Head Office functions in Malaysia. You will draft SOPs, coordinate rollout of processes, and support store operations with timely guidance and reporting.

The role requires strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication abilities, with travel to stores as needed and a background in retail operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own the coordination of day-to-day operational matters between the Operations Department, Area Managers, stores and Head Office functions.
• Draft, review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, workflows and checklists.
• Serve as a primary Operations Support contact for stores and Area Managers on procedures, systems and operational initiatives.
• Prepare accurate periodic and ad hoc operational reports, dashboards and management updates.
• Coordinate assigned operational projects and improvement initiatives from planning through implementation and post-implementation review.
• Monitor adherence to approved SOPs, operational procedures and control requirements.
