• Mandarin proficiency mandatory for APAC stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day OTC operations for assigned markets.
• Oversee Cash Application with timely, accurate receipts allocation.
• Manage Customer Master Data creation, maintenance and governance.
• Support and execute monthly O2C Closing within timelines.
• Monitor AR reports, analyze aging, highlight collection risks.
• Drive Collections to improve cash flow and reduce overdue balances.
• Support Billing and Invoice Management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Investigate payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and disputes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Commercial teams and customers.
• Handle requests via email and participate in Mandarin stakeholder meetings.
• Identify process improvements and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and SLAs.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OTC Team Lead to support the APAC market. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing key Order-to-Cash (O2C) activities, including Cash Application, Customer Master Data Management, Accounts Receivable (AR) Reporting, Collections, Billing, and O2C Closing activities. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin for operational discussions and stakeholder meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day OTC operations for assigned markets.
• Perform and oversee Cash Application activities, ensuring timely and accurate allocation of receipts.
• Manage Customer Master Data creation, maintenance, and governance.
• Support and execute monthly O2C Closing activities within agreed timelines.
• Monitor and prepare Accounts Receivable (AR) reports, analyze aging, and highlight collection risks.
• Drive Collections activities to improve cash flow and reduce overdue balances.
• Support Billing and Invoice Management processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and customer disputes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance, Sales, Commercial teams, and customers.
• Handle operational requests via email and participate in stakeholder meetings conducted in Mandarin.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, controls, and service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in:

Cash Application

O2C Closing

Accounts Receivable Reporting

Collections

• Customer Master Data Management
• Strong understanding of the Order-to-Cash (OTC/O2C) process.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory to support all APAC markets such as AU, NZ, SG, MY and etc.
• Good command of English for business communication.
• Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced shared services environment.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working in a regional or global shared services environment.
• Exposure to process transitions, automation, or continuous improvement projects.
• Leadership or team coordination experience is preferred with handling team size upto 10.
