Job summary

Euroclear Malaysia is seeking a seasoned operations professional to manage the end‑to‑end processing of GFX trades, including timely execution and escalation follow-up. You will drive process improvements and serve as the main coordinator for incidents and client inquiries, coordinating across Transfer Agents, Fund Managers and internal teams.

The role requires 5–7 years of financial services operations experience, excellent English communication, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial services operations, with understanding of investment operations.
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication; second languages are a plus.
• Well-developed organizational and critical thinking skills to resolve day‑to‑day issues independently.
• Detail oriented with good knowledge of mutual funds and hedge funds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely order placement and execution of process GFX trades; follow up on escalations.
• Initiate and support process improvements to increase efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Act as the primary coordinator for escalated incidents, client complaints, and service issues; investigate and communicate resolutions.
• Handle ad-hoc and escalation queries from Transfer Agent, Fund Manager, and Clients.
• Identify non-standard or exception-based processes and ensure risk assessments and controls before implementation.
• Participate in system enhancements and provide feedback on Business Requirements Documents; assist in UAT as needed.
• Regularly review team governance, documentation, procedures, and risk assessment materials.
• Assist Operations Manager with relevant ad-hoc tasks.
• Maintain strong relationships with sub-custodians and internal/external departments.
