Job summary

Grab is seeking a Business Intelligence & Operations Automation Engineer to design, build and maintain automation pipelines for Malaysia operations based in Petaling Jaya. You will own end-to-end delivery, scoping bottlenecks, writing scripts, integrating systems and ensuring long-term adoption of solutions in the field.

You will deepen your expertise in solution architecture and AI tool applications to real operational challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field.
• At least 1 year of professional Python programming experience.
• Practical understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON handling, and API integrations.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and management.
• Experience with AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Map workflows and write scripts to connect systems and automate manual tasks.
• Utilize Python to automate repetitive tasks and ensure scalable solutions.
• Write optimized SQL queries to fetch, transform, and feed data into workflows.
• Document all design, development, and implementation phases.
• Create user guides and technical documentation for deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders within MY Operations to tailor solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing solutions.
