Job summary

Oleon, a business unit of Avril, is seeking an Operator (Weighbridge) to join the Production department at Pulau Indah, Klang, Malaysia. You will ensure accurate weighing, documentation and tracking of all vehicles and materials while complying with safety and operational standards.

The role requires at least SPM/O Level or Diploma, 2 years weighbridge experience, and the ability to work shifts. You will collaborate with drivers and site staff, maintain records, operate weighbridge software, and

Qualifications

• Must have SPM/O Level or Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant weighbridge experience.
• Attention to weight data accuracy.
• Familiarity with weighbridge equipment and software.
• Good communication with drivers and site staff.
• Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation.
• Willing to work on shifts and on-call during peak periods.
• Based at Pulau Indah, Klang.

Responsibilities

• Operate weighbridge equipment to weigh incoming/outgoing vehicles.
• Maintain logs of tare and gross weights and compute net weight.
• Ensure vehicles comply with weight limits and regulations.
• Collaborate with drivers and site staff to smooth operations.
• Enter data into computer systems and issue weighbridge tickets.
• Calibrate and maintain weighbridge equipment.
• Handle administrative tasks such as calls, scanning, filing, and emailing documents.

We are looking for aweighbridge operator to further strengthenour Production department.
As a weighbridge operator, you are required to ensure accurate weighing, documentation, and trackingof all incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials while maintainingcompliance with operational and safety requirements.

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

• Operate Weighbridge Equipment:Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles using weighbridgescales and software systems
• Record Keeping:Maintain detailed logs of all weighing transactions, including tare (empty) and gross (loaded) weights to determine the net weight of materials
• Compliance:Ensure all vehicles comply with legal weight limits and regulations
• Customer Interaction:Collaborate with truck drivers, site supervisors, and other personnel to ensure smooth operations
• Data Management:Input data into computer systems, verify documentation, and issue weighbridge tickets
• Equipment Maintenance:Regularly calibrate and maintain weighbridge equipment to ensure accurate measurements
• Administrative Tasks:Handle administrative duties such as answering calls, scanning, filing, and emailing documents

You'll succeed if:

• You have possess at least SPM/"O" Level/Diploma in anyfield
• You have at least 2 years relevant experience/related
• You are attention to Details: Precision in recording weight data andverifying documentation
• You have technical Proficiency: Familiarity with weighbridgeequipment and software systems
• You have communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively withdrivers and other stakeholders
• You have organizational Skills: Efficiently manage records anddocumentation
• You have regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant weightregulations and compliance requirements
• You have IT Skills: Proficiency in usingword processing, spreadsheet, and email software
• You are able towork on shift
• You are willing to work during festivals and or call-in to back-upcolleagues
• You must be willing to work inPulau Indah, Klang
