Job summary

Groupe Avril offers an internship in production at Pulau Indah, Port Klang, Malaysia. You will support daily operations and ad hoc tasks while gaining hands-on experience in a large oleochemical group.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or Science, with English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency, and basic MS Office skills. The role runs for six months with an attractive internship allowance and meals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering/Science or related field.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Basic computer skills: Word and Excel.
• Willing to commit 6 months duration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proactive and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist on Production team and establish the pictorial work procedure.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
• Execute “mini-projects” on site and validate improvements.
• Support engineers in data collection.
• Record batch data, equipment readings, and production reports.
• Participate in inefficiency improvement projects.
• Support 5S and housekeeping activities within assigned areas.

We are looking for an internship to further support the team.

As an internship, you will support the team on the daily operations and other ad hoc task.

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

• Assist onProduction team establishing the pictorial work procedure

You’ll succeed if:

• You are currently pursuing at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Science or any engineering studies to related field
• You can converse: English & Bahasa Malaysia
• You have basic computer skills – Microsoft Word & Excel
• You can commit duration: 6months
• You can possess good interpersonal & communication skills
• You have proficiency in Microsoft Office & Autocad
• You are willing & open to learn
• You are proactive & strong initiative
• You are willing to work in Pulau Indah, Port Klang
