Job summary

Oleon is seeking an operator to reinforce our Production department in Pulau Indah, Klang. You will control chemical processes, follow SOPs, and ensure continuous, efficient production to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include weighing operations, field coordination, waste handling, and assisting control room activities. The role requires 3 years of related experience, knowledge of DCS systems, and proficiency in Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Must have at least SPM/'O' Level or Diploma in any field.
• SPM or higher with 3 years relevant experience.
• 3 years proven experience in the related field.
• Knowledge and ability to operate DCS system.
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills are an asset.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Able to work shift, including festivals/call-ins.
• Willing to work in Pulau Indah, Klang.

• Oversee production activities in field per factory procedures.
• Dispose of filter cake waste and empty filter bags correctly.
• Perform loading/unloading activities for logistic needs.
• Maintain housekeeping in the plant.
• Execute, check, and adjust production from control room or field.
• Report production processes to supervisor and assist operations as needed.
• Ensure samples are representative and properly labelled.

We are looking for an operator to further strengthen our Production department.

As an operator, you are required to control or operate entire chemical processes, following standard operating procedures and instructions of the Boardman, in order to make sure production works constantly and efficiently and the organization produces enough material to supply customers.

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

• Manage weighing in and weighing out of isotank/RTC/trucks/vehicles on the weighbridge after regular working hours of the weighbridge operator
• Check, execute and follow up/adjust the production activities at the field with instructions from the control room as per factory procedures with an efficient, safe and environmentally friendly manner
• Dispose of filter cake waste and empty filter bags into the correct waste bin
• Perform loading/unloading activity as and when needed for logistic activities
• Perform housekeeping in the plant
• Perform additional tasks as and when needed/requested by superiors
• Execute, check, follow up and adjust the production activities from the control room or in the field using factory procedures
• Report on the production processes to the supervisor
• Assist the operation department on ad-hoc matters
• Ensure sample taken is a representative sample in regardless of liquid or powder sample
• Ensure sample taken are labeled with accurate information – eg. date of sampling, - product identification, - batch identification, - sampling point
• Perform ingredient and processing aids charging
• Actively involve in plant activities

Who are we looking for?

You’ll succeed if:

• You have possess at least SPM/"O" Level/Diploma in any field
• SPM equivalent or higher with 3 years relevant experience/related
• Proven successful experience of at least 3 years in the related field
• Must have knowledge & able to operate DCS system
• Knowledge in Microsoft word, excel will be asset
• Experience in using a forklift is an asset
• Able towork shift
• Willing to work during festivals and or call-in to back-up colleagues
