Job summary

Oleon is hiring an Operator at Pulau Indah, Klang. This permanent role requires hands-on control room and field activity, with duties ranging from weighing, production checks, sample collection, and blending.

You will support the operations team, maintain safety and environmental standards, and respond to ad-hoc requests from supervisors. The position demands 3+ years in a related field, SPM/DO Level or Diploma, and the ability to work shifts.

Qualifications

• SPM, O Level or Diploma in any field.
• SPM equivalent or higher with 3 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge to operate DCS system.
• Microsoft Word and Excel are an asset.
• Forklift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage weighing in and weighing out of i/sto tank/RTC/trucks/vehicles on the weighbridge after regular working hours.
• Check, execute and follow up production activities per factory procedures in a safe manner.
• Dispose of filter cake waste and empty filter bags into the correct waste bin.
• Perform loading/unloading activity for logistics as needed.
• Perform housekeeping in the plant.
• Execute production activities from the control room or in the field and report to the supervisor.
• Assist the operation department on ad-hoc matters.
• Ensure representative sampling with proper labeling (date, product, batch).
• Perform product blending and charging of ingredients/processing aids.
• Actively participate in plant activities.

We are looking for an OPERATOR

Location: SELANGOR HALAL HUB PULAU INDAH INDUSTRIAL PARK SE, LOT 57 JALAN SUNGAI PINANG 4 3KS11, PORT KLANG, 42920, Malaysia

Contract: Permanent

Work in your element

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

• Manage weighing in and weighing out of i/sto tank/RTC/trucks/vehicles on the weighbridge after regular working hours of the weighbridge operator
• Check, execute and follow up/adjust the production activities at the field with instructions from the control room as per factory procedures with an efficient, safe and environmentally‑friendly manner
• Dispose of filter cake waste and empty filter bags into the correct waste bin
• Perform loading/unloading activity as and when needed for logistic activities
• Perform housekeeping in the plant
• Perform additional tasks as and when needed/requested by superiors
• Execute, check, follow up and adjust the production activities from the control room or in the field using factory procedures
• Report on the production processes to the supervisor
• Assist the operation department on ad‑hoc matters
• Ensure sample taken is a representative sample regardless of liquid or powder
• Ensure sample taken are labeled with accurate information – e.g. date of sampling, product identification, batch identification, sampling point
• Perform product blending
• Perform ingredient and processing aids charging
• Actively involve in plant activities

You'll succeed if:

• You have at least SPM, 'O' Level or Diploma in any field
• SPM equivalent or higher with 3 years relevant experience
• Proven successful experience of at least 3 years in the related field
• Must have knowledge and be able to operate DCS system
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel is an asset
• Experience using a forklift is an asset
• Able to work shifts
• Willing to work during festivals and call‑in to back‑up colleagues
• Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Klang
