About the role Estek Automation Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Operator Mechanical Assembly to join our manufacturing team in Batu Kawan, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our production operations. As an Operator Mechanical Assembly, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that all products meet our high quality standards. This role is essential to our manufacturing process and directly contributes to the delivery of excellence to our clients across the manufacturing, transport and logistics sectors.

Key responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions

Operate and maintain assembly equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition

Perform quality checks on assembled components to verify they meet specifications and standards

Document assembly work, including production data and any issues encountered during the process

Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production challenges and improve efficiency

Identify and report defects or non-conformities to management for corrective action

Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on assembly processes and procedures

Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembly Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
