Job summary

ESTEK Automation Sdn Bhd in Batu Kawan, Penang, is seeking an Operator Wiring Assembly to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role focuses on precise wiring, assembly and quality checks to support LED and semiconductor manufacturing standards.

You will read technical drawings, perform soldering and testing, maintain records, and collaborate with the team to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in wiring assembly or electrical assembly.
• Secondary education or equivalent; technical qualifications/certifications in electrical assembly advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring harnesses and electrical components according to technical specifications and drawings.
• Perform soldering, crimping, and connection tasks using specialised equipment and hand tools.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure components meet company standards and customer requirements.
• Test completed wiring assemblies for functionality and electrical continuity.
• Maintain accurate production records including quantities produced and defects identified.
• Follow health and safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
