Job summary

VEGA PRECISION TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to run CNC Auto Lathe machines independently, perform setup, die trials, adjustments, and troubleshoot for new item development.

Fresh graduates are welcome. You will conduct regular checks and preventive maintenance, monitor product quality, manage spare parts and tools, and participate in 5S/TPM/Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity and quality. Based in Gebeng, Kuantan.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, die trials, and maintenance.
• Able to operate more than one machine independently.
• Familiar with measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and run CNC Auto Lathe machines independently.
• Perform machine setup, die trials, adjustments and troubleshooting for new item development.
• Conduct regular checks and preventive maintenance on machines, tools, and measuring instruments.
• Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts, cutting tools, and consumables.
• Monitor and inspect product quality during production (appearance and dimension).
• Maintain proper records and checklists related to CNC operations.
• Handle coolant top-up, chip disposal and material handling.
• Participate in 5S, TPM and Kaizen activities.
• Contribute to productivity, quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Check product quality for appearance defects.

Job description

Perform machine setup, die trials, adjustments, and troubleshooting for new item development.

Conduct regular checks and preventive maintenance on machines, tools, and measuring instruments.

Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts, cutting tools, and consumables.

Monitor and inspect product quality during production (appearance and dimension).

Maintain proper records and checklists related to CNC operations.

Handle coolant top-up, chip disposal, and material handling.

Participate actively in company activities such as 5S, TPM, and Kaizen.

Contribute to productivity, quality, and process improvement initiatives.

Checking product quality of appearance defect.

Other task as per assigned.

Requirements
