• Production Planning: direct end-to-end scheduling and capacity allocation with Sales, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management: formulate procurement frameworks and drive cost-down initiatives via KPI tracking.
• Logistics & Inventory Control: oversee shipping, import/export docs, freight performance, ERP inventory tracking.
• Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement: lead procurement, planning and logistics, optimize workflows, maintain ISO compliance.

About the Company

Our client is a reputable manufacturer of precision components and modules in high-mix low-volume, with specialization in very complex machining, high surface finishing and product cleanliness. They are an established supplier for many major global players in the Optical, Semicon, Diagnostics, Medical, and Life Science industries.

We are looking for an Operations & Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end production planning, strategic procurement, and logistics operations within the precision manufacturing environment. In this role, you will optimize supply chain frameworks, ensure smooth and cost-effective operations,manage key vendor relationships, and champion digital tools to support the scalable growth.

• Work Location: Shah Alam, Selangor
• Work Mode: Fully On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Direct end-to-end scheduling and capacity allocation for in-house and outsourced operations in close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management: Formulate procurement frameworks, manage direct machining sub-suppliers, and drive cost-down initiatives through rigorous performance and KPI tracking.
• Logistics & Inventory Control: Oversee shipping arrangements, import/export documentation, freight vendor performance, and accurate ERP-based inventory tracking.
• Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Lead the procurement, planning, and logistics team while streamlining workflows through advanced ERP/MRP tools and maintaining ISO compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant supply chain and procurement experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry, including 2–3 years in a managerial position.
• Proficiency in English alongside multilingual capabilities for effective communication with diverse local and international vendors.Mandarin is a plus.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier development, or production planning.

Remuneration:

RM 10,000 - RM 12,000
