Job summary

YFY Jupiter Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operations & Supply Chain Supervisor/Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain activities from NPI through mass production, ensuring on-time delivery and product quality for customers in JB and Penang.

The role requires strong leadership (5+ years), Mandarin and English communication, and hands-on supervision across Sales, Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Logistics to optimize inventory, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience.
• At least 3 years in operations and/or customer service.
• Based in JB or Penang, Malaysia.
• Hands-on and proactive with daily operations focus.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent communication in English; proficient Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers through proactive communication and engagement.
• Lead NPI processes from early development to product launch.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth processes and alignment with customer needs.
• Monitor demand trends and coordinate with teams for timely order fulfilment.
• Plan outsourced material requirements and ensure on-time availability.
• Manage inventory to balance demand, holding costs, and working capital.
• Process supplier billing and monitor AR to maintain cash flow.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions; drive RCA and preventive actions.
• Collect market intelligence to support strategy and growth.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics.
