Job summary

GN Group in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee inbound, order management, warehousing, and distribution at the lowest reasonable cost. You will work with the Supply Chain Team to optimize results and support production, planning, and customers.

The role requires 5–7 years in logistics and warehouse operations, strong inventory planning, and leadership capabilities. ISO13485:2016 and ISO45001:2018 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma; bachelor's degree highly preferred
• 5–7 years in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, shipping, and customer service roles
• Supply chain management knowledge
• 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience
• Strong inventory planning and materials management skills
• Proactive, organized, and communicative
• Good written and spoken English skills
• ERP systems and Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse, logistics operations, and related activities
• Coordinate shipping, scheduling, and interdepartmental communications
• Monitor inventory and movement across multiple locations and 3rd party warehouses
• Plan and allocate resources, review plans periodically
• Set up space layouts and maximize storage efficiency
• Maintain tools, facilities, equipment, and licenses
• Ensure monthly reports are accurate and submitted on time
• Monitor freight performance and supplier relationships
• Develop the team through training and coaching
• Investigate and implement cost-saving operational improvements
• Prepare summaries, budgets, and presentations
• Ensure ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 45001:2018 compliance
