in Penang seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the Rehabilitation Centre’s daily operations, ensuring efficient, high‑quality service delivery. You will lead and coordinate Customer Service, Billing, HR, IT, Marketing, Facilities and vendors, develop policies, monitor KPIs and budgets, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• MBA or related degree required.
• 10+ years of management experience in healthcare.
• Strong leadership, communication and change-management skills.
• Experience with budgeting, KPI tracking and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Rehabilitation Centre operations and service delivery.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Billing, HR, IT, Marketing, Facilities and vendors.
• Develop and improve operational policies, procedures, systems and workflows.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, resources and performance to drive efficiency and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety, quality standards and MSQH accreditation.
• Drive continuous improvement in patient experience, operations and service development.

Job description

Oversee the overall operations of the Rehabilitation Centre to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.

Manage and coordinate key operational and support functions, including Customer Service, Billing, HR, IT, Marketing, Facilities, and vendors.

Develop and improve operational policies, procedures, systems, and workflows.

Monitor KPIs, budgets, resources, and operational performance to drive efficiency and financial sustainability.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, Health & Safety, quality standards, and MSQH accreditation requirements.

Lead and develop teams while promoting collaboration, accountability, and a high-performance culture.

Drive continuous improvement in patient experience, operational efficiency, service development, and business growth.

Collaborate with senior management and department heads to achieve the Centre’s strategic and operational objectives.

Requirements

MBA or bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Allied Health, Hospital Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of management experience, preferably within healthcare, rehabilitation, hospital, or related healthcare services.

Strong experience in healthcare operations, budgeting, KPI management, quality improvement, and stakeholder management.

Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Strong understanding of healthcare quality, patient safety, clinical governance, and regulatory requirements.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and drive change and performance.
