Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily production and project operations near Rawang/Puncak Alam in Malaysia. You will coordinate with procurement, inventory, sales and engineering teams to meet schedules and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and at least 3 years of leadership experience in industrial settings. Travel to sites and overseas assignments may be required, with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering relevant to industrial equipment, fabrication or environmental treatment systems.
• At least 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience in engineering, fabrication or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of APCS and IETS is a plus.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel to project sites, including overseas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production and project operations with procurement, inventory, sales and engineering teams.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to meet schedules.
• Monitor and report production and project status, costs and issues to management.
• Lead engineers, supervisors and operational teams with accountability and performance standards.
• Address operational issues with strong problem-solving to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor costs, usage, productivity and quality to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
• Travel to project sites to monitor progress and coordinate activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvements.
