The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant running of all hospital services, balancing patient care quality with operational and financial performance.
Ensure the hospital complies with Malaysian healthcare regulations, hospital accreditation standards, and internal policies
Supervise medical and non‑medical staff, including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative personnel;
Assess performance, provide feedback, and arrange training
Prepare and manage the hospital budget, monitor expenses, optimise resource allocation, and ensure financial sustainability.
Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and patient care; coordinate with clinical teams to maintain high service standards and patient satisfaction
Oversee cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment; ensure infection control and emergency preparedness
Generate operational performance reports, analyse data, and implement improvements; stay updated on healthcare technology and regulatory changes
Collaborate with senior management, government agencies, and external partners to align hospital operations with strategic goals
