Job summary

AIW Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, is seeking an Operation Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will oversee daily production and logistics activities, ensuring smooth workflows and optimal resource utilisation.

You will coordinate production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and cross-functional collaboration with teams while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations management within manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling and inventory management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities for process improvements.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily production and logistics operations.
• Plan and schedule production to optimize resources.
• Track inventory levels and document stock movements.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and management to resolve bottlenecks.
• Prepare reports to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Support in implementing process improvements and staff training.
• Maintain accurate operational metrics and documentation.
