Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a hands-on HR & Operations Manager to lead daily operations and manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding. The role is 70% operations and 30% HR, onsite at Publika, Kuala Lumpur, with BYOD and a single Saturday per year for events.

You will supervise a 4-person Operations team, coordinate with ~10 external facilitators and vendors, and ensure compliance with HRD Corp, MOF, and immigration rules, reporting to the CEO/MD.

• Bachelor Degree is required.

The HR & Operations Manager is a hands‑on leadership role with a 70% Operations and 30% HR functional split. On the operations side (70%), you will oversee daily business execution, including training program logistics, facilitator assignments, training materials and inventory management, LMS platform support, IT vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance (HRD Corp, MOF, Immigration). On the HR side (30%), you will own the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle‑managing recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, offboarding, policy updates, and HR administration. This is a full‑time, onsite role (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM @ Publika; 1 Saturday/year for company events) operating under a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy.

This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director, who is known for an approachable, structured, and strictly "by-the-book" leadership style, alongside strategic alignment with an energetic Chairman. You will directly lead a dedicated 4‑person Operations team covering course scheduling, program stewardship, and stock/inventory control, while coordinating with a network of approximately 10 external facilitators and key service vendors.
