Discova Sabah is seeking an Operations Executive to coordinate guide assignments, tour logistics, and bookings, ensuring accurate updates in systems.

You will work with guides, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver seamless tours, handle incidents, and maintain high service standards. Flexibility to work weekends and travel when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in tourism, destination management, travel operations, or related field is beneficial.
• Qualification in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field is desirable.
• Fluent in local language with intermediate to advanced written and spoken English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

About the Opportunity As a Touring Executive, you will be at the heart of our day-to-day tour operations, ensuring every detail is planned, confirmed, and delivered seamlessly. Working closely with internal teams, guides, suppliers, and service partners, you will help drive customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and service excellence across our touring portfolio. Your main responsibility is:

• Coordinate guide assignments, tour logistics, and operational requirements for assigned bookings.
• Confirm reservations, suppliers, and third-party services, ensuring all information is accurately updated in company systems.
• Prepare touring and transfer documentation and provide clear operational briefings to guides and field teams.
• Monitor operational changes, communicate updates promptly, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Deliver exceptional customer support, managing complaints and incidents with a solution-focused approach.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, maintain service quality, and support profitable tour delivery.

About You The Essentials:

• Previous experience in tourism, destination management, travel operations, or a related industry is an advantage.
• Qualification in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is desirable.
• Fluent in the local language with intermediate to advanced written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work on a flexible roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays when required.
• Willingness to travel for business when needed.
