Job summary

Servay Evergreen Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on operations associate to oversee daily activities across departments, coaching staff to align with company standards. Responsibilities include ensuring service quality, managing stock levels, arranging displays, and coordinating promotions with the Operations Manager.

The role supports sales targets through effective supervision, inventory control, and cost-efficient practices across Servay Takis Papar and related stores in East Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operational activities including morning briefings, employee attendance, duty rosters, and rest time schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and training to employees so they understand their duties and perform in alignment with company standards.
• Monitor customer service levels and address customer complaints promptly to improve service quality and strengthen company reputation.
• Work with the Operations Manager to discuss, plan, implement, and monitor promotional activities aimed at achieving sales targets.
• Maintain full understanding of each department’s sales performance and targets.
• Review tasks and performance reports from consignment employees to evaluate each brand’s and department’s contribution to daily and monthly sales.
• Monitor and adjust merchandise displays to ensure shelves are adequately stocked and visually appealing to support sales generation.
• Stay informed of stock levels, ensuring sufficient inventory for sales and preventing out-of-stock situations.
• Perform and monitor stock ordering through related systems, ensuring accurate order quantities based on stock movement, sales trends, and promotional needs.
• Report stock movement issues, discrepancies, or stock losses to the Operations Manager.
• Monitor stock expiry dates and pricing accuracy; ensure pricing errors are corrected and near-expiry goods are prioritized for clearance.

Store Upkeep & Expense Control

• Inspect and supervise the cleanliness and hygiene of all departments to maintain a comfortable and pleasant shopping environment.
• Control company resources and expenses to minimize wastage and ensure cost-efficient operations.
• Assist the Operations Manager in conducting market surveys to gather information on product quality, pricing, and competitor activity to help the company maintain a competitive position.

Other Duties

Perform additional responsibilities assigned from time to time by the Operations Manager.
