Job summary

Bell Direct, a leading online stock broker, seeks a detail-oriented Client Onboarding Specialist in Kuala Lumpur to establish and activate client accounts in compliance with KYC/AML/EDD requirements. You will process applications, manage transfers, and coordinate with Front Office to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires 1–2 years in financial services, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and excellent English communication within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a relevant financial services environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, securities operations, and basic accounting concepts in an operational context.
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data processing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and activate client accounts with strict KYC/AML/EDD compliance.
• Process client correspondence, forms, applications, and Deceased Estate documentation accurately.
• Manage transfer requests on and off market to external brokers and counterparties.
• Ensure activities comply with internal procedures, ASX regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Liaise with Front Office and other departments to ensure daily operations meet standards.
• Monitor and resolve client requests and inquiries promptly with timely responses.
• Maintain client account records for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and adapt to changing business needs.
