Job summary

BrightPath Talent Co. is seeking a dedicated Back Office Officer to join their growing team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, handling account openings and maintaining compliance. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Economics, Finance, or Business, along with excellent English communication skills. The package includes competitive remuneration and medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is a must.
• Able to work in different shifts.
• Any other language will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring effective implementation of KYC procedures.
• Executing daily tasks relating to account opening/maintenance.
• Monitoring clients’ accounts and notifying for suspicious transactions.
• Preparing various regulatory reports related to back office.
• Identifying and enhancing internal procedures and controls.

Skills

Fluent in English – Written and verbal

Ability to work under pressure

Computer literate – very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Education

University degree in Economics/Finance/Business or in a related field
